Discontent

"Content makes poor men rich; discontent makes rich men poor."

Are you content?  I mean, really content—like, are you completely happy with your car, your house, your job, your family, your life?  Only about 1/3 of Americans consider themselves happy, a 2013 Harris study poll showed. Most of us struggle daily with thoughts of a better house, a nicer vehicle, a healthier bank account, more property, etc.  Discontent seems to be a normal experience for us as Americans. And yet, it’s completely unbiblical, even dangerous. The state of being discontent breeds numerous problems…how do we deal with it? How do we find contentment in life?  Join us this morning as we finish out our “Money” series with a final lesson on contentment.
