Live In Harmony
Series: Love One AnotherScripture Reading: Romans 12:14-21
Live in Harmony…
“We are family, I got all my sisters with me...” If you lived through the disco era (Ah yes, platform shoes, paisley pants, bell bottoms, lots of hair and beards), this song will take you back. 1979. Sister Sledge. We Are Family. The beat is catchy and the words are memorable (and repetitive).
All memories and silliness aside, the premise of the song should be true, right? We are family. Everyone should be able to see we’re together. Last week we talked about Jesus’ command to love each other. This week, we’ll look at what Paul says to live in harmony together. This one is tricky. How do you live in harmony among a group of people who are so very different? All of us come from different families, backgrounds, political ideologies, and preferences. How do we make this work? Join us this morning as we explore the second lesson of our “One Another” series.
