No Condemnation!

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

—Romans 8:1-2

Have you ever felt like you could do nothing right?  Lying in bed before you go to sleep, you feel terrible, thinking to yourself, “Can I ever do anything right?”  The good news is, yes, yes you can. But, it’s not you—it’s Jesus. Through Jesus, there is no blame for sin—he takes it all!  Can you imagine never having to deal with the eternal consequences of sin? That’s what it’s like to live in a relationship with Christ—you don’t have to worry about paying for your sins at the end of this life.  We may mess up here on earth and have to deal with the consequences now, but the eternal punishment of sin has been taken away—there is no condemnation. We live in freedom because of Christ’s gift!
