Ladies, have you ever felt like Paul in Romans 7 with your husband? Don’t answer that… 
Last week, we discussed the Paul’s own personal experience with his sinfulness in Romans 7. When all appears hopeless, he finds himself leaning on the only thing he knows he can trust—the sacrifice of Jesus to deliver him.
This week, we continued Paul’s thoughts of his deliverance as we work into chapter 8. We’ve found in chapter 8 another crucial piece to Paul’s victory—life in the Spirit. We have talked about this idea here before. Actually, it seems like we’ve spent a good deal of time recently discussing the Spirit’s power in our lives. The question I want to ask you as you read this is, have you made the effort to incorporate the Spirit’s power in your fight against the flesh? We can talk about it all we want, but until we actually use the Spirit, it’s just that—talk. The good news is that if you are in Christ you have the Spirit. It was given to you at baptism (Acts 2:38).
You just have to use Him! Have you?
