Abundant FINANCES

I’m sure by now you know that the abundancy of finances we are going to be talking about has nothing to do with a quantity of money and everything to do with a quality of money.  There is a proverb that says, “Better is a dry morsel with quiet than a house full of feasting with strife.” (Proverbs 17:1).  While not directly dealing with money, it does give us a clue as to what is most important in life, and the amount of money and wealth is not it.

I’ve known some happy and content people in my life, and I would have to say that the majority of them were not wealthy.  Most of contentment has to do with our attitude, not our bank accounts.  But, how can we do better with our finances?  Given that we are a congregation of extremely varied means, how can we all understand what it means to be abundant in our finances?  Join us this morning as we take a look at the Bible’s perspective on money, and how to live abundantly, no matter the financial income.
