God and Government

Americans are never as interested in politics and government as an election year, and this one is no different. One might argue that this presidential race is more contentious than any prior to it. With all of the attention surrounding the election in just a few short weeks, it may be wise for us as believers to examine what the Bible has to say about government.

Beginning with our lesson last week, “I Am a Citizen” (go back and review on Facebook if you missed it), and over the next few weeks, we’ll take a look at what God has said about government’s purpose, and our responsibility to it as Christians.
